Alright, we’ve gone through three of the main heroes of Sovereign Soul – time for a villain! Meet Lancet Cooper, field commander of Will’s squad and a soldier of Syaoto!
Lancet and Will carry a personal vendetta. Both are equally matched despite having at least two ranks between them. However, Lancet is known for pilfering the most out of a situation. During their time in Harohto, Lancet insists on charging hefty fees to the townsfolk to guide them through the Old Forest. He insists he’s only carrying out the wishes of Lord Commander Brom Gerenadh, but his soldiers know better. His spotty track record involves taking bribes, turning a blind eye to those in need, profiting off of adverse situations, and just about everything else short of actually attacking citizens!
Lancet wields lance, gladius, and hatchet with expertise. Despite only having a few years on Will’s spiritual appearance, his skill is about the only part of his personality he hasn’t botched the numbers of. Speaking of which, just how did he rise through the ranks so quickly, passing some better men than himself?
A last thing to note. Syaoto folk carry certain traits that make them stand out. They normally have earthy-colored hair, strong builds, and a likeness to nature. If Lancet is from Syaoto, why is his hair silver, his build wirier, and with a certain distaste for nature?
