Taking a brief lapse from introducing the characters of my story, this is an update on the current development of Sovereign Soul: Akin Minds. I’ve uploaded the edited version of Act One online through a reviewing website (which I recommend!). Check out the link below:

A few things to state off the bat. My version of Microsoft Word is a little outdated, and it suggests different ways of spelling many words (ie. Maneuver, Defense, etc.). I’m looking to spell them the way I just did, but Microsoft Word corrects them to the other style (Manouvre, Defence, etc). Please feel free to comment if you see spelling like this so I can track it down!
Other than that, the only thing lacking in this edit is a typical spellcheck. I’ve gone over everything by this point except the different spellings, intending to just run one final spellcheck at the end (hopefully with a more recent version of Word!).
If the first Act receives some feedback, I’ll upload a little more as I go. I’ve received virtually no feedback by this point and highly encourage beta readers! I also do beta reading, so feel free to link me to your book in return!
In terms of editing process, I’m sitting at about 40% of the way through my edit, currently debating on changing a great detail about Act Five coming up. For those interested, I’ll resume the character blogs tomorrow, and will be updating soon with more detailed character bios and world bios as well. Anyone reading may suggest anything I can post on this site!
