New! – Blog #24, January 4th, 2020

Hello everybody! Sorry for the delay in updates for the last month. Working two jobs has been awfully stressful and time-consuming… but it hasn’t been without its fruits!

As of now, the first Act of Sovereign Soul Book 2: The Serpent Empire (working title) is available to read online here!

It’s pretty much complete besides some later editing, and it gives some scope to the changes coming to the series! If you’ve finished Book One and are eagerly awaiting some new stuff, it’s worth the read!

In Book 2, Ryoku returns to his travels with a desire to grow stronger and succeed in his eventual mission to save his sister. A complication seen at the end of Book One throws a stick in that wheel, and Ryoku will have to become stronger and smarter than ever to face the Ordenstraum Empire once more. At the same time, Syaoto faces constant strife after the near-demise of their world, and Will is bound by honor and responsibility to other tasks. The designs of the gods will become apparent as Ryoku draws closer to success and the mysteries of his past.

As well, if you’re looking for a different read altogether, check out this preview of Legendlore Book One: The Reaper. Legendlore is the prequel to Sovereign Soul, and you can delve into this coming-of-age paranormal story without riddling yourself with Sovereign Soul spoilers!

In the Reaper, Ronyx wakens from a strange dream to find his life quickly changing in strange ways. A mysterious, plaid-dressed boy who follows him around, a ghastly knife in the night, and a shadowy man with ever-changing eyes are just the beginning of these new apparitions. The only thing stopping Ronyx from going crazy is that his friends see them too.

If you’re holding out to get your hands on Book One, the wait will soon be over. Coles in Penticton will be getting a few copies for those who know me locally. I’ll be doing a book signing there shortly too, so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, Book One is fully available online to order. Check with me to get it at a shipping-free cost!

Apologies again for the late updates, but stay tuned for more. Even in lack of updates, I’m always writing every day!
