Hey all! Just wanted to reach out this week with a few updates.
As some of you may know, my writing’s been somewhat stinted due to school. I’m currently studying video game design, which will hopefully open up some new avenues for my story expression coming up. [For anyone interested in that, I’ll be updating those details here soon!]
Sovereign Soul Book Two: Serpentine Empire is well underway. The book is just over halfway done, and I’ve been doing some notes/compiling of what I have so far to make the future editing a simpler process. Besides school, part of the delay is that I’m trying to make Book Two as consistent and concise as possible. It will still likely be bigger than Book One was, but hopefully not by too much.
I’ve done a bit of poking around on the site while trying to write some writing advice/worldbuilding/character development sort of blog posts at least once a week. Today, I did some general layout fixes and added some content to the Defenders of Laia page, updating the character lists and adding a new map of Central Laia made with Inkarnate. Defenders of Laia‘s writing has been coming up a bit on the side, as well as some progress on Legendlore.
All in all, I’m hoping to redirect my career with more emphasis on gaming development & writing, meaning I’ll usually be sitting in front of the computer doing something, hopefully something relevant to my future plans in one way or another.
