Hello all! With a lot of new things Sovereign Soul on the way, I’m eager to share my latest author reading – this time, the first scene of Embers of Orden! The second book in the series now has an early reading!
The author reading is in two parts for conveniences’ sake. The first part covers Ryoku’s POV, and the second covers Dawn’s.
I once made an author reading for the first scene of Akin Minds and did everything myself through Canva and other video editing software, but this time I got the videos professionally done. The transcription time is much better and neater, the images higher quality, and the music was a profound choice. I particularly like the music they chose for part one – check it out for yourself!
Recording my voice is not easy, for many reasons, and there are a few blunders that were too quick to edit out, but I hope any listeners enjoy. Please keep in mind that this reading will make MUCH more sense if you’ve read Akin Minds first!

Many things are coming together for the series, and I’m eager to share them as they come to life. Between editing, merchandising, battling Tellwell, and promotional material, I’ve spent a GREAT deal of time on Embers of Orden and Ruinbound, and I hope to see my efforts come to fruition soon.
