Booksprout Read & Review – Blog #90, March 9th, 2025

Hello all! Welcome to another Sovereign Soul blog!

Today, I wanted to bring up Booksprout. It’s a read & review service that is free to sign up for (as a reader), where you can get free e-copies of a book in exchange for a review.

To any who haven’t obtained their copy of Akin Minds, first book in the Sovereign Soul series, here’s your chance! It’s free to sign up, you have a few months to read the book, and you can leave a review on Amazon, Goodreads, or Barnes & Noble!

Reviews, especially on platforms like Amazon, are critical to writers like me to reach a bigger market. Consider signing up and getting free e-copies of books to review and support not just me, but other authors like me who critically need the reviews and support.

A lot of people consider reviewing literary works daunting, but reviews don’t need to be a literary analysis, a thoughtful deep dive into the book, or a hundred-word essay like some people think. A simple, honest rating and a quick word on what you thought of it are all it takes. Leaving reviews is super-easy, especially in this day and age. Leave the big analyses to professional reviewers who make a living off their opinions – your support is all we need!
