Ruinbound Imminent – Blog #98, June 21st, 2025

It’s finally here. Over the past few weeks, we’ve gone over a lot. Embers of Orden and Stormwrought both received new covers and publications. A big book trailer for Ruinbound dropped a few weeks ago.

Today, it all culminates – Ruinbound officially releases today! And to top it off, it’s received a brand new cover.

“I will come back to you. I promise that. We will return with the means to continue this grievous survival.” – Will Ramun, RUINBOUND

This is the final new cover – for now. Another masterpiece produced by the wonderful artist Amaimanis over on VGen. We pick up the saga of Ryoku Dragontalen a month after the end of Stormwrought. Although, for some, significantly more time may have passed.

Features:

  • 762 newly formatted pages, sleek and clean
  • Beautiful new cover!
  • Updated Dramatis Personae and new Pronunciation Guide!
  • A short preview of Remnant Shadows!
  • It’s affordable!

You can check out the wonderful book trailer here!

Ruinbound can now be purchased here on Indigo, or you can do the e-book here on Amazon – also free on Kindle Unlimited! (We’re still struggling with Amazon in terms of paperback edition – more might come of that soon!) The Akin Minds e-book is still available through Amazon, and I may follow up with the e-books for Embers of Orden and Stormwrought.

We’re in the process of fixing issues with Indigo. They have Ruinbound and Embers of Orden properly available, with Akin Minds and Stormwrought returning in the next few days.

To tie this off with a current update – Remnant Shadows, Book 5 in the Sovereign Soul series, is nearing completion of its first draft! Since Ruinbound is only releasing now, I’m in no rush to release it anytime soon.

So, that’s it for now! What do you think of the new cover? Are you excited for this book and the future of the Sovereign Soul series? Authors tuning in, have you also had issues with Amazon and the quality of your printed books?

Until next time, everyone!
