World of the ‘eternal coast’, known for its endless beaches and huge islands. War occurs frequently between the many tribes. Pirates, nobles, and tribes practically run the place. Magic is uncommon, mostly in healing and parlor tricks. Defenders are seen as ‘good sellswords’.

For their era, their sailing and gun technology is at least 200 years beyond their time. Sea monsters are rumored to exist here but are all but mythical. Most islands are jungle-like or alpine, and alpine islands trade heavily in tea leaves among other things. Tropical storms, flash floods, and even typhoons are common.

Prominent Locations:

  • Fon Isle: The location of the Capital, mostly jungle. Houses the Capital, a few settlements, and monster dens.
  • Carnivorous Cove: Monster den along the Fon coast. Mostly inhabited by spiders. Dark, dreary, and damp. The tunnel is carved widely into the side of the mountain, stretching beyond the beach and well into the water, causing half of the caves to flood. Coral and seaweed hang from stalactites. On the second level, a petrified tree breaks through into the mountaintops where the Spider Queen nests.
  • Fon Capital: Somewhat blocked off on land (mostly by Carnivorous Cove) and most easily accessed by water. A port city and capital of trade rather than military might. The city is built upon wooden boards atop the water. Produces little of own value (seafood, coffee, tree fruit, etc.) and heavily focuses on ships and ship repair.
  • Illdel: Another main island of Fon. Considered a pirate capital.
  • Wolan Isles: A somewhat nefarious set of small islands in Fon. Heavy in dark market trade and commerce.

Prominent Characters:

  • Captain William: Doppel-Will. A seafaring man with a love for adventure. Leads a small crew, and older than he initially appears.
  • Wess: Works at the ship workshop in the Capital.

Prominent Lore & Items:

  • Satchel Fire: Small red satchet of seeds that produces instant flame.
  • Navigator Gem: Fon-specific gems that allow ships to navigate treacherous waters with ease.
  • Chaos Dwarves: A rare race of red-skinned dwarves around 7-8 feet tall. Rude, but strong metallurgists.
  • Orichalcum: Mineral mined on Chaos Dwarf islands. Makes good weapons and armor.
