Special Abilities:
Ronyx learns how to enter the Spirit Realm as the first of his friends. He naturally harbors the basis of gifted magic. Prophetic dreams and visions are a latent ability for him, as well as the ability to see and interact with spirits in the physical world. Ronyx has a very advanced and calculating mind, and quickly figures out most of his problems on his own.
Fighting Skills:
Ronyx has a pocket knife he uses and is a decent physical combatant, but his skills at battling spirits are a slow curve that takes time. His magic and swordplay quickly become two of his strongest traits.
Preferred Weapon:
Ragnarok: Ronyx only comes upon his legendary weapon close to his final confrontation with Grim. The sword is in its most basic state and is virtually a light-elemental sword, but highly useful against the likes of Grim.
Weaknesses:
Ronyx’s biggest weakness is his friends and his caring for them. In addition, he has the tendency to keep information to himself and doesn’t share his findings with the others. While he naturally tends to act as a leader, his secrecy stirs unrest among his followers.
Strengths:
Ronyx is a valued strategist and quickly figures things out on his own. His swordplay and magic skills are quickly among the strongest in his group, and he carries them through many narrow battles.
History:
During his youth, Ronyx lost his mother and her side of the family in a terrible fire. He and his half-sister, Roxanne, moved in with her father for a time, only for another terrible fate to befall him. Eventually, with none left to take them in, Ronyx and Roxanne were sent to different orphanages. It didn’t take long for Ronyx to find his new family. Brianna, a nurse, and Richard, a professor, were glad to have a child of their own.
Prior to the beginning of Legendlore, Ronyx seems to live in a daze, hardly noting the people and places around him. He befriends Curtis Friesen, Cam McCallough, and Andrew Fernie, but divulges little to them until the beginning of Legendlore Book One: The Reaper – when he has his first prophetic dream.
