Hello all! Apologies for the lack of posts. I’m currently off work for injury. Second degree burns all over my right hand. It’s making this post difficult to write, so I’ll keep it short.
I’ve been unable to write for just over a week now. I’ve made it through a couple pain-staking pages of editing, but it’s been slow. I have to go through hand therapy to regain some movement in my hand. On the bright side, I’ve gotten good at using my left hand and mouth to adapt. Unfortunately, one cannot type well with their mouth. I tried.
As such, my progress for editing is still stuck at about 40%. It would have been a great week to catch up if I were able. As it is, I must return to my job on Tuesday next week, and I’ll probably be at about the same spot, editing-wise. Everything has sort of been at a standstill.
Once I’m better, I’m going to pause on character posts and start talking about some elements to my book as well as writing advice. The writing advice will be open, and if anyone has any questions or just wants to debate on storytelling skills, do let me know.
